Convenia injection (cefovecin sodium) is an injectable cephalosporin that provides the effective treatment of common canine and feline bacterial skin infections, wounds, and abscesses. Reversamed 10ml
Indications
Dogs: Convenia is indicated for the treatment of skin infections (secondary superficial pyoderma, abscesses, and wounds) in dogs caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus intermedius and Streptococcus canis (Group G).
Cats: Convenia is indicated for the treatment of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) in cats caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida.

Treatment of bacterial infections in dogs and cats.
Dogs
- Skin infections including bacterial folliculitis, wounds and abscesses caused by susceptible strains of
- Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Streptococcus canis (Group G, ß-haemolytic), E. coli and Proteus mirabilis.
- Urinary tract infections (cystitis) associated with susceptible strains of E. coli, P. mirabilis and Staph. intermedius.
- As adjunctive treatment to mechanical or surgical periodontal therapy in the treatment of severe infections of gingival and periodontal tissues associated with Porphyromonas spp. and Prevotella spp.
Cats
- Skin infections including abscesses and wounds caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Strep. canis (Group G, ß-haemolytic), and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius.
- Urinary tract infections associated with susceptible strains of E. coli. Fluvet 10ml
